Spain Certification Business Developer – RINARINA is recruiting for a Spain Certification Business Developer to join its office in Madrid within the Mediterranean & Africa Certification Division.MissionThe mission of a Business Developer at entry level is to learn and contribute to the growth of the business by supporting various aspects of business development and sales activities. We are looking for a motivated, dynamic individual with a strong passion for sales.Key AccountabilitiesPipeline Management: Update sales pipeline with new prospects, prioritize and manage prospects effectively.Contract Closing Support: Provide support in activities related to closing contracts, gain exposure to finalizing deals and agreements.Cross‑Selling & Mutual Opportunities: Support development of cross‑selling and mutual opportunities, work with the team to explore synergies.Competitor Tracking & Intelligence: Track competitor activity and provide updates, contribute to understanding competitive landscape.Collaboration with Experienced Managers: Collaborate with more experienced Business Development Managers, assist in focusing on new business and sales opportunities including client visits.Customer Engagement: Engage with current and potential customers to discuss and understand their needs, build and maintain relationships.Customer Acquisition Opportunities: Identify potential acquisition opportunities, learn the process of expanding customer base.Customer Satisfaction & Repeat Business: Contribute to customer satisfaction initiatives, support efforts to encourage repeat business and loyalty.Contract, Tender, & Quotation Support: Provide support on contracts, tenders, quotations, gain exposure to preparing and submitting proposals.EducationBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (General)Master’s Degree in Economics (optional)Qualifications2–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or related fields with solid prospecting, lead generation, and deal‑closing capabilities.Strong analytical skills to evaluate market trends and support data‑driven decisions.Proactive, self‑motivated mindset with enthusiasm to embrace new projects.Proven negotiation abilities to secure favorable commercial terms.Familiarity with ISO standards and technologies/tools supporting business development, including CRM systems.CompetenciesMAKE EFFECTIVE DECISIONS – Structure activities according to priorities, resources and constraints.ADDRESS THE WAY – Have a big picture and reinterpret it perspective‑wise.MANAGE EMOTIONS – Recognize one's own and other's emotions and regulate responses.CLIENT INTIMACY – Embrace internal and external client needs to ensure maximum satisfaction.EARN TRUST – Be open to diverse opinions.PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT – Promote commitment, keep promises.THINK FORWARD – Translate experiences into future action plans.PIONEER CHANGE – Embrace change and benefit from new circumstances.BUILD NETWORK – Forge trust relationships across departments and outside organization.RINA is a multinational company providing a wide range of services in energy, marine, certification, infrastructure & mobility, industry, research & development sectors.
