Summary CHS has an exciting opportunity to join our EMEA Trade Execution team as a Container Export Execution Specialist, based in our Barcelona office. This role plays a key part in connecting our cooperative’s global operations with international markets, adding value for our producers, owners, customers, and stakeholders through precise and compliant export execution. Responsibilities • Execute container export shipments through the BSM system, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant documentation aligned with international regulations.• Coordinate with government agencies (USDA, US Customs, FDA, etc.) and steamship lines to meet logistical and contractual requirements.• Collaborate closely with merchandising, logistics, and accounting teams to ensure contracts are properly set up and executed.• Build and maintain effective relationships with customers to ensure accurate and timely shipments, providing updates and ongoing support.• Oversee customer contracts in designated trade regions, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.• Generate accurate invoices and support timely collection and application of payments.• Apply relevant government regulations and compliance tools, advising customers and ensuring internal adherence to policies.• Maintain accurate spreadsheets tracking various commodities and bookings.• Promote a strong safety culture by identifying hazards and correcting or escalating unsafe conditions. Minimum Qualifications (required) • Strong attention to detail and accountability.• Ability to understand the financial impact of transactions.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.• Experience in logistics coordination and export documentation.• Knowledge of contract processes and compliance tools. Additional Qualifications • Flexible, enthusiastic, and creative problem-solving mindset.• Ability to build cross-functional and international relationships.• Experience using systems such as BSM.• Familiarity with international trade and maritime transport regulations.• Previous experience in similar roles within the agribusiness or global logistics industry.
