We are on a mission to build the infrastructure that propels access, inclusion, and the democratization of financial services.What We're Looking ForWe are seeking an experienced HR and Operations Manager to join our Barcelona office on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in HR, operations, and finance, with specific knowledge of Spanish employment regulations and best practices. This role will be responsible for managing office operations and providing comprehensive HR support to ensure an excellent employee experience and smooth day-to-day functioning of our Barcelona location.ResponsibilitiesHR / Employee ExperienceCoordinate team lunches and eventsReview and recommend employee benefits enhancements specific to the Spanish marketAdminister Coverflex and other employee benefit programsAddress HR inquiriesLead recruitment efforts including job posting, candidate screening, and interview coordinationStay informed on local HR regulations, ensure organizational compliance and implement best practicesOffice Management / OperationsManage visits from regulators and ensure compliance with local regulationsOversee office amenities including food / drinks and maintaining a welcoming office environmentProcure and manage office supplies and equipmentOversee lease management and serve as primary point of contact with property managementAct as authorized signatory on designated documents as requiredFinancesTrack and manage budgetProcess employee reimbursements and manage travel arrangementsOversee petty cash and maintain accurate financial recordsCoordinate with HR, Finance, IT in the US regarding financial policy adherenceQualifications10+ years of experience in HR and operations management rolesFully bilingual in Spanish and English with proficiency in conversational communication, professional business writing, legal and HR terminology in both languagesDeep understanding of Spanish labor laws and HR best practicesExperience with HR information systems and benefits administrationStrong financial acumen with budget management experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to handle confidential information with discretionExperience in a multinational environment is a plusHours and LocationPart-time position (~20 hours / week)Based in our Barcelona office as a hybrid roleSalary18,000 - €20,000 annuallyEqual OpportunityCross River is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
