What we are looking for: The job of Reservations Agent is successfully executed when: Collaborate with the Reservations Manager in supervising tasks related to reservations. Manage and respond to customer and agency inquiries. Be familiar with and manage reservation systems and ensure the efficiency of reservation processes. Ensure that energy and material saving policies are followed and that waste is recycled. Maintain good communication with all colleagues in your own team and other departments regarding issues that may in any way affect hotel operations and customer well-being. Usual job responsibilities are: Collaborate with the Reservations Manager in overseeing daily operations related to reservations, manage and respond to customer and agency inquiries related to reservations, maintain up-to-date knowledge of reservation policies and systems, address and resolve reservation-related issues and complaints, collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience, analyze reservation trends and provide reports to management, assist in training and mentoring the rest of the reservations team. Requirements The person we are looking for, should have the following qualities: Open and positive attitude and good communication skills. Service, customer, and results-oriented. Fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English. Other languages will be valued. At least 2 years' experience in the Reception/Reservations department of a 5-star hotel.
