About the role We're looking for a Senior Content Designer to join our growing design team at an exciting time. As Booksy evolves to become a design-led organisation, you'll play a key role in shaping both the products we build and how we build them. You'll work as a solid individual contributor, taking ownership of complex product challenges from discovery through to delivery. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional partners to ship experiences that balance user needs with business strategy. This is a role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves with urgency, and is energised by the opportunity to establish design excellence whilst doing excellent design work. What you'll do Discovery and strategy Lead discovery work to deeply understand user and business problems. Synthesise research, data, and insights into clear content design opportunities. Define and articulate content strategies that align with product and business strategy. Partner with product and engineering to shape roadmaps and prioritization. Content design and delivery Own end-to-end content for complex product areas. Synthesize complex technical, legal, or business constraints into simple, human-centric language. Prototype ideas to test hypotheses and validate solutions quickly. Design and run experiments to inform decision-making and measure impact. Work within and contribute to our content documentation and design system. Ship work iteratively, measuring impact and refining based on outcomes. Collaborate effectively with engineers throughout implementation. Influence and leadership Advocate for users and content quality in cross-functional discussions. Align stakeholders with a clear UX narrative and present content design decisions confidently. Help establish content design as a strategic partner across the organisation. Share knowledge and raise the bar for design across the team. What we're looking for Hard skills 5+ years of content design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end work. Exceptional craft skills, with the ability to synthesize complex constraints into simple, human-centric language. Deep understanding of user-centred design principles and how to apply them in complex product contexts. Experience establishing content principles and systems that scale across multiple features. Proficiency in Figma, with the ability to contribute to interaction design and prototypes to solve complex UX problems. Comfortable leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance content design process and output. Ways of working Comfortable working in ambiguity and defining your own path forward.
