Location: Oviedo, Asturias, ES
Job Description: IT Development Project Manager in a hybrid role.
We are looking for a candidate (male/female) to lead IT software development projects, fostering and supporting innovation while seeking optimal standardized and industrialized solutions. Ensure that projects are executed with the necessary service level. Collaborate with various stakeholders to effectively gather and define software requirements. Provide the development team with architectural blueprints and guidelines to follow during the software development process. Evaluate, identify, and design high-level software solutions that align with project objectives. Supervise and guide the development team's work to ensure project goals are met. Identify and direct solutions for critical challenges related to software and hardware integrations. Troubleshoot coding or design issues as they arise during the development and maintenance process. Present periodic progress reports to stakeholders and establish clear project objectives. Conduct final product testing to ensure it functions correctly and meets internal customer requirements. Understand software application architecture to accurately estimate the impact of change requests.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role as a project manager and software architect.
- Proven experience in project management, including demand management, resource allocation, project tracking, and comprehensive reporting on project progress.
- Experience in software architecture involving the definition of efficient and cost-effective technical solutions that align with project requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience in implementing change management strategies.
- Technological environment: Angular, .NET Core, REST services, SSIS, SQL Server, Winforms, Visual Basic, Cobol, DB2, and CICS.
- Desirable: Certification in Project Management (PMI, PMO, etc.).
- Advanced English (spoken and written).
- Availability for national and international travel (approximately 15% of the time).
