OverviewAsabys Partners, a leading venture capital firm based in Barcelona, is launching a new fund dedicated to company creation originating from Spanish academia and selective seed investments in emerging biotech and medtech ventures. We are expanding our leadership team and seeking a new Partner to shape the strategy, build the next generation of disruptive companies, and drive the fund’s scientific and investment vision.Role OverviewThe Partner will play a central role in the fund’s sourcing, creation, and development of new biotech/medtech companies in partnership with top academic institutions and scientific founders. This senior, high‑impact position requires deep scientific expertise, an entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership skills, and a robust network in the biotech or medtech innovation ecosystem. The Partner will work alongside the two existing partners of the Fund, be part of a dedicated team, and be supported by the overall Asabys structure.Key ResponsibilitiesCompany Creation & Sourcing – Identify high‑potential scientific opportunities emerging from Spanish universities, research centres, and technology
