Role Overview

An informed and impartial perspective to help our clients reach their goals through the design and execution of strategic M&A in the Financial Institutions (FIG) space. We provide impartial, expert advice to large and mid-sized clients in the FIG space, leveraging our deep understanding of financial markets, high volume of transactions, and unrivalled network of specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research on the FIG industry (Banking, Insurance, FinTech, Payments, Asset & Wealth Management, Specialty Finance, etc.) to support the wider team's marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute high-quality content to pitch books by conducting ad-hoc analysis.
  • Update industry databases and credentials.
  • Develop and maintain standard or bespoke financial models with support from colleagues.
  • Apply a range of valuation techniques to support client advice.
  • Draft sales documentation (i.e. Information Memorandums and prospectuses).
  • Support the team in coordinating the transaction process both internally and with other advisers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with high qualifications.
  • Previous experience gained in a similar role in another financial services organization in the FIG space.
  • Exposure to fundamental financial principles and experience of applying these.
  • Effective relationship building skills with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Ability to communicate clearly as well as persuade and influence others.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Experience of overcoming setbacks in order to deliver results.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Aptitude for ongoing personal and professional development.
  • Knowledge of the relevant regulatory environments that surround the FIG industry.
  • Spanish as first language or very advanced Spanish skills.
