At Leica Biosystems, we're committed to advancing cancer diagnostics and improving lives. As a Sales Specialist for Digital Pathology, you'll play a critical role in driving the growth of our regional business in Spain and Portugal. Your expertise will be instrumental in implementing our Digital Pathology strategy, winning new business, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute a regional business strategy to capture market share and drive growth
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver Digital Pathology projects that meet customer needs and expectations
  3. Manage sales opportunities across the full funnel process, from lead to implementation, in large and medium-sized competitive accounts
  4. Partner with Account Managers and the EMEA Digital Pathology & Workflow Team to ensure consistent above-market growth
  5. Design and implement Digital Pathology solutions in collaboration with Distribution and Customer IT departments
  6. Research and develop new opportunities to increase Leica Biosystems' market share
  7. Support the tender response team on technical application processes
  8. Communicate the value proposition of Leica Biosystems' Digital Pathology solutions to customers and represent the company's winning characteristics
  9. Apply data-driven insights to maximize results and optimize sales performance
Requirements:
  1. University degree in IT or Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent experience
  2. Relevant experience in the Health Care IT environment, with knowledge of technologies, products, and processes
  3. Previous experience in a biomedical and sales-oriented environment, with an understanding of regulatory requirements and procedures
  4. Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, both written and spoken
  5. Willingness to travel within the defined territory up to 60% of the time
