Job Title: Site Director - Barcelona

EF Education First Gruppe is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Director to join our team in Barcelona. As a Site Director, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our study abroad and gap year programs in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide local oversight of program logistics, ensuring the smooth coordination of student support and program activities.
  • Represent EF Study Abroad and EF Gap Year through formal and informal contact with university partners, including administrators, staff, and faculty.
  • Advise students on local customs and academic policies, and support their cross-cultural adaptation to their host setting.
  • Liaise with local partners and suppliers to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting academic program logistics, cross-cultural support, and student emergencies.
  • Work collaboratively to support the safety and well-being of students and manage escalated emergencies.
  • Lead engaging and experiential activities that foster a sense of community and inclusion among program participants.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in program management, logistics, and coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with a strong understanding of local customs and cultural nuances.
