Facilities Maintenance Specialist

PUMA is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Technician to join our Central Services team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the upkeep and functionality of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment, fixtures, and appliances.
  2. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential issues.
  3. Manage and maintain inventory of supplies and materials.
  4. Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
  5. Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  6. Requirements:
    1. Associate degree, Trade School or equivalent with at least 2 years' experience in general maintenance and mailroom functions.
    2. Basic knowledge of building operations, regulations, and construction trades (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire/Life Safety etc.).
    3. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    4. Experience with Microsoft Office Suites.
    5. Experience in shipping and receiving.
    6. Must be onsite daily (Monday – Friday 7am – 3 pm).
    7. Lifting up to 50 lbs. required.
