We are seeking a Technical Accountant for LATAM to join our team.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Finance Technical Accounting Team, collaborating closely with team members and management to meet compliance deadlines for our legal entities.

The role will serve as an expert for Mexico and Peru, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reports in accordance with US GAAP, local GAAP, SOX, and corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all key deadlines; Deliver timely and precise financial reporting under US GAAP and local GAAP, including statutory audits for LATAM subsidiaries; Manage US GAAP reporting for joint ventures in Mexico, maintaining effective communication with partners; Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes; Analyze and summarize account information; Audit financial transactions and document accounting controls; Ensure compliance with all tax, VAT, and statutory requirements, including audits. Required Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in preparing annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS; Degree in Financial Accounting, preferably with an IFRS background; Experience working in an international team; Proficiency in English and Spanish; Advanced skills in Excel; Strong communication skills in a diverse environment.
