About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to join our Finance team at Immfly.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure the accuracy of our financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations.
  2. Financial Process Improvement: Design and improve our existing accounting and financial processes and tools.
  3. Financial Record Management: Manage our financial records and lead the bookkeeping in different group entities.
  4. Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare both standalone and consolidated financial statements under Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
  5. Internal and External Financial Reporting: Manage and improve our Internal and External Financial Reporting.
  6. Inventory Management and Tax Compliance: Account for inventory management and other relevant areas such as Capex, ensuring effective implementation of transfer price policies, and demonstrating a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  7. Tax Process Optimization: Optimize the group's tax processes, including compliance with local and international tax regulations, while collaborating with external tax advisors and authorities to address tax-related matters.
  8. System Automation and Procedures: Continuously improve and drive system automation and procedures within the accounting and finance area to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  9. Complex Accounting Matters: Lead complex accounting matters with an impact on our financial performance.
Requirements
  1. Technical Requirements
    1. At least 5 years of experience in the Accounting field in a multinational environment. Preferred tech and start-up / scale-up experience.
    2. A minimum of 2 years of audit experience will be greatly considered.
    3. Bachelor's Degree in Economic and Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
    4. Experience with Financial Close and exposure to Auditors.
    5. Experience with tax, especially accounting and financial reporting implications.
    6. Experience with bank accounting, reconciliations, and general bookkeeping tasks including suppliers, payroll, journal entries, and accruals.
    7. Advanced proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, SAP, databases, ERP.
    8. Good knowledge of Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
    9. Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish (oral/written). Catalan is a plus.
