The selected candidate will be an integral part of the Finance Technical Accounting Team, collaborating closely with team members and management to meet all critical compliance deadlines for our legal entities in the region.
The role requires the incumbent to serve as an expert for Mexico and Peru, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reports in accordance with US GAAP, local GAAP, SOX, and corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure all compliance deadlines are consistently met; Guarantee timely and precise reporting under US GAAP and local GAAP, including compliance with statutory requirements and audits for subsidiaries in LATAM; Oversee US GAAP reporting for joint ventures in Mexico, maintaining effective communication with management and stakeholders; Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes; Collect, analyze, and summarize financial account information; Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures; Ensure compliance with all tax, VAT, and statutory requirements, including audits as necessary. Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in preparing annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS; Degree in Financial Accounting, preferably with an IFRS background; Experience working in an international team; Proficiency in English and Spanish; Advanced skills in Excel; Strong communication skills in a diverse, multi-disciplinary environment.
