About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Underwriting Assistant to join our team at AXA Group. As a key member of our Middle Office team, you will play a crucial role in providing a high-quality service to our clients, creating and activating insurance coverage on complex risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Underwriting teams in managing complex insurance policies, ensuring efficient and accurate administrative processes.
  • Handle contracts for new and established Casualty businesses, including checking conditions of acceptance, interacting with customers, and making informed decisions.
  • Develop and modify contracts, amendments, and coverage concepts to meet customer needs.
  • Prepare and issue contractual documents, including policies, endorsements, and certificates.
  • Support Credit Control team in cash allocation and monitoring of outstanding unpaid premiums.
  • Manage information, including preparing and sending weekly reports, premium flows, and local policies instructions.
  • Control Gross and Net portfolio, data quality, and expert-level knowledge of Global Programs tools.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in insurance companies in similar roles.
  • Proven experience in managing Global Programs and complex accounts.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (minimum C1 level CEFR).
  • Bachelor's degree desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Good team player, capable of self-learning and working within a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills combined with a strong work ethic.
  • Proactive attitude facing challenges.
  • Strong and effective organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to a changing environment with flexibility and innovation.
