Job Title: Senior Underwriting Assistant - Casualty

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Underwriting Assistant to join our Casualty team at AXA XL. As a key member of our Operations department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our clients and ensuring the efficient administration of our insurance products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract handling: efficiently and accurately process new and existing Casualty business contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Customer interaction: effectively communicate with customers and brokers to gather information, provide guidance, and make informed decisions.
  • Contract development: create and modify contracts to meet customer needs, working closely with the Underwriting team to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Policy administration: monitor and issue contractual documents, including policies, endorsements, and certificates.
  • Financial management: support the Credit Control team in managing cash allocation and monitoring outstanding premiums.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in insurance companies, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in managing Global Programs and complex accounts.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (minimum C1 level CEFR).
  • Bachelor's degree desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, combined with a strong work ethic.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal clients, vendors, and brokers.
