About the Role:
We are seeking an Underwriting Assistant to join our dynamic team in Barcelona. As a key member of our Financial Lines business, you will be responsible for supporting our Underwriters and Administrative Center. Your primary duties will include preparing reports for underwriters' meetings, credit control management, problem-solving, and back-up for underwriters to quote and bind.
Key Responsibilities:
Be the point of contact between Underwriters and Administrative Center
Prepare reports for underwriters' meetings/trips
Credit Control management
Problem-solving accounting/system issues on complex submissions
Request new submissions entries to internal administration platforms
Back-up for Underwriter to Quote and Bind
Requirements:
Fluent proficiency in French and English
BA or MA degree
Experience in Administrative position
Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (Microsoft)
Preferred Requirements:
Fluent proficiency in Dutch, Swedish, or Danish
Experience in Insurance industry
Experience working with PEGA underwriting tool
