We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our cross-functional team at TUI Tech. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering technical leadership and expertise in System Engineering, with a focus on DevSecOps mindset and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to your team, shaping engineering processes and practices, and promoting quality-first ethos.
  • Lead complex technical solution delivery, working closely with Agile delivery teams to ensure successful deliverables within agreed time and quality targets.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable, infrastructure platform solutions, driving architecture, design, development, security, and operations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve expertise in infrastructure platform solution architectures, infrastructure-as-code approaches, DevSecOps capabilities, tooling, processes, and ways of working.
  • Take proactive corrective action to improve quality, automation, and platform flexibility, ensuring general availability and operational health.
  • Deliver infrastructure services to DevOps teams, enabling them to focus on delivering their platform, with a strong focus on platform provisioning, configuration, onboarding, consultation, security, FinOps services, and education & training.
  • Contribute to Communities of Practice, collaborating on shared initiatives and demonstrating active contribution to the team.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in delivering infrastructure services to DevOps teams.
  • Strong technical skills, with expertise in infrastructure platform solution architectures, infrastructure-as-code approaches, and DevSecOps capabilities.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to verbalize thoughts and ideas, and take initiative to translate ideas into outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently, with little to no supervision, and coach, guide, and develop more junior colleagues.
  • International, multi-cultural team experience.
