About the Role

MERcury Engineering is seeking a highly skilled MEP Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex engineering and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage the Electrical and Mechanical Systems packages, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Site Operations: Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Safety Management: Collaborate with the Director of Field Operations and the Mercury Safety Advisor to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Quality Assurance: Manage Site QA in conjunction with the Mercury QA Manager, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Project Schedule: Collaborate with the Mercury Project Manager, consulting Engineer, and Client requirements to ensure project schedule adherence.
  • Cost Management: Manage all costs associated with your packages, including labor, materials, and sub-contractor expenses.
  • Sub-Contractor Management: Oversee sub-contractor activities, ensuring timely progress and adherence to project schedules.
  • Communication: Maintain strong relationships with the client team, ensuring effective communication and project updates.
  • Documentation: Ensure all project documentation, including safety files, QA files, and project plans, are up-to-date and accurately maintained.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A trade and/or relevant third-level qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of previous experience in project management.
  • Skills: PC literate with strong competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
