JLL is seeking a highly skilled MEP Manager to join our team. As a MEP Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of critical infrastructure projects, including data centers.
Key Responsibilities- Direct interlocutor with customers, responsible for project monitoring and risk management.
- Consulting on construction projects, monitoring, and proposing solutions from a technical, planning, economic, quality, and health & safety perspective.
- Undertake feasibility studies (technical, economic, and planning) of projects and works.
- Work planning and coordination of multidisciplinary teams and long-lead equipment.
- OFCA management or supervision.
- PMP elaboration and definition of project strategies.
- Development of process and purchasing strategy, as well as management of the Project and/or Construction Packages Tender.
- Suppliers selection and customer presentation.
- Preparation of technical dossier for tender, reception of offers, realization of comparative and issuance of award recommendation.
- Organization of regular work monitoring meetings.
- Management and moderation of meetings.
- Preparation of Minutes of Meetings and periodic reports.
- Cost control, planning, change orders, and billing follow-up.
- Management and control of the commissioning of the work and facilities.
- Degree in industrial engineering and specialty electrical installations, mechanical or similar.
- Experience in design and construction management of Critical Infrastructures like Hospitals or Data Centers (+10MW) for at least 4 years.
- 4-year experience in the construction sector (projects and works).
- Essential knowledge of laws and regulations related to installations (mechanical, electric, water,...).
- Analysis capacity for risk detection or failure points is required, as well as the ability to search and propose solutions.
- Leadership capacity to achieve objectives and milestone compliance.
- Good communication and management skills of multidisciplinary work teams.
- Experience in dealing with customers for reporting and decision-making.
- Good level of use of Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Project/Primavera, TCQ/Presto, BIM 360 is required.
- Experience in companies with hierarchical structures and internal procedures.
- Organized in the analysis, structured in the reporting and transmission of information.
