Job Opportunity at Deusto Business School
We are seeking a highly qualified Postdoctoral Fellow to join our team at Deusto Business School. The successful candidate will be part of our research group focused on Leisure, Culture and Tourism for Social Transformation.
About the Position
The Postdoctoral Fellow will be responsible for:
- Conducting research in the area of health, well-being and social cohesion
- Collaborating with our research team to publish in high-impact journals
- Participating in competitive projects and submitting research proposals
- Teaching classes in postgraduate, master's, and doctoral courses
- Guiding and directing thesis processes and other works/reports of undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Contributing to the development of projects for international research
- Establishing contacts with research groups to expand our collaboration network
- Organizing dissemination of articles in high-impact newspapers
- Organizing proposals for books and other international publications
- Organizing events for scientific dissemination of our team and ongoing research
- Promoting the visibility of our research groups on leisure at Deusto Business School and expanding participation in other groups from different universities
- Stimulating the creation/participation in research networks
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A PhD degree in a relevant field
- Experience in research and teaching
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A strong motivation for innovation and research
- The ability to adapt to new situations
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- A gross annual salary of €32,985.15 to €42,000
- A contract for 3 years
- The opportunity to work with a dynamic and international research team
