Associate Product Operations Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Product Operations Manager to join our team at Clarivate. As a key member of our Web of Science product operations team, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and acquiring high-quality content from digital repositories for inclusion in our collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Acquisition: Identify and evaluate digital sources that can provide valuable content, including preprints, data sets, images, videos, and software, in various scientific disciplines.
- Liaison and Negotiation: Collaborate with content providers to facilitate the gathering, inclusion, and licensing of content.
- Metadata Management: Utilize metadata standards for resource type identification and metadata extraction.
- Coverage Decisions: Own coverage-related decisions and ensure they are completed and clearly communicated according to defined KPIs.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations concerning the use and application of digital resources.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Web of Science teams to ensure efficiency and consistency of decision making and accurate representation of selected content.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry developments that could influence processes and products.
- Support and Guidance: Provide support to colleagues as needed to ensure a smooth handover from content selection to content indexing.
About the Team
You will be reporting to the Director – Product Operations based in the UK and will be part of a team of 5 colleagues based in Europe and the US. This role is in the Web of Science product operations team, in our Academic and Government segment, and you will work with customers and partners of our hosted content.
Working Arrangements
This is a full-time permanent position based in either Barcelona, Spain or Belgrade, Serbia, and will require hybrid working (2-3 days per week in office, rest of week remote). The teams you will work with are primarily located across Europe and the US, and this position will require up to 10% travel.
