About the Job

We are seeking a Product Manager Monetization to ensure the improvement of our primary revenue streams. This includes subscriptions and consumables, such as tokens within our web and app. The successful candidate will work with the Growth team in the Dating vertical, focusing on two brands with distinct positioning.

Responsibilities
  • Develop the value proposition for our membership and paid products, working with the Data team to identify features that convert users to PRO and iterating on those that do not provide enough value.
  • Propose testing strategies to improve the conversion rate of paywalls and get more users to start their subscriptions.
  • Propose pricing strategies to achieve better market fit in different markets and geos.
  • Help test consumables, aiming to find the best price and value proposition, and understand how consumables can coexist with subscriptions.
  • Work closely with the Ad Revenue/AdOps team to integrate ads seen by free users into the monetization strategy of subscriptions and consumables.
Key Skills/Experience
  • Over 3 years of experience working on improving a company's revenue through subscriptions and one-off product purchases within websites and apps.
  • Experience with app-based subscription products, with a focus on strengthening the app side.
  • Analytical tools and paywall testing experience, including RevenueCat, Adapty, Qonversion, or Purchasely.
  • AB testing knowledge, including incremental impact, statistical significance, and type 1 and type 2 errors.
  • Product analytics experience, including Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, or Posthog.
  • Paywall AB testing experience, including creating a backlog of experiments based on hypotheses to be tested.
  • Store pricing configuration experience, including the lifecycle of subscriptions and understanding what it means for a subscription to have auto-renew set to false.
  • Metric understanding, including ARPU, ARPPU, ROAS, and Payback period.
  • Professional level in English, with knowledge of German a plus.
