About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Creative Designer to join our team at Unispace. As a Senior Creative Designer, you will be responsible for leading design projects from concept to completion, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver innovative and effective design solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Lead design projects, managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines to deliver high-quality results.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver design solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Design Development: Develop and implement design concepts, working with internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, designers, consultants, and construction teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Project Management: Manage all aspects of design projects, including compiling drawings, finish boards, and full documentation sets.
  • Presentation: Create and deliver presentations that showcase design concepts and solutions.
  • Project Delivery: Deliver projects that are both beautiful, functional, and profitable.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to enhance Unispace's capability and effectiveness.
  • Risk Management: Identify and report risks to the Design Director, ensuring compliance with ethical practices.
  • Professional Development: Continuously enhance depth and breadth of design skills, staying current with external market trends.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualification: Tertiary qualification or equivalent in design-related discipline.
  • Design Passion: Passion for interior design and a strong understanding of design principles.
  • Project Management Experience: Experience managing high-performing project teams, preferably on high-profile workplace projects.
  • Design Tools: Proficiency in the use of design tools, including Revit CAD, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to pitch to high-profile clients.
  • Collaboration: Ability to create strong relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Emotionally intelligent, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience working within the UK and a strong understanding of the local market.
  • Commercial Interior Design Experience: Commercial interior design project experience, with a focus on delivering innovative and effective design solutions.
