Job Description

Adecco (Spain) is seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our team in the development of innovative solutions for the vegetable seed industry.

Project Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the operational implementation of a research project in an international and cross-functional environment. This project involves evaluating the sensory characteristics of fresh fruits collected in different European countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Secure the day-to-day logistics of the project to ensure fruit reception in the laboratories at the right time and in good conditions.
  • Coordinate with European fruit growers, phenotyping platform, and sensory laboratory to plan fruit harvests and shipping procedures.
  • Monitor fruit shipping and assess the quality of fruit packaging and sensory quality at reception in the laboratory.
  • Support the proper realization of sensory study by our provider, including recruitment of consumers panel, respect of experimental design, and hedonic data processing, analyses, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Master degree in food science with sensory and statistics background.
  • Background in sensory science and experience in logistics/supply-chain.
  • Project management and statistics skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with French as a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and international environment.
