Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Study client specifications, assess technical requirements, and perform preliminary design to create offers for clients.
- Concept and Design: Carry out concept and design in adherence with requirements, including functions, tolerances, and material strength calculations.
- Manufacturing and Testing: Launch and monitor the manufacturing of parts, and execute and review detailed studies to demonstrate compliance with technical requirements.
- Technical Support: Interact with the team, provide technical support, and control the proper implementation of technical requirements.
- Design Validation: Verify and validate designs carried out by other mechanical engineers.
- Team Leadership: Lead technical competencies in the team, help improve skills, and interact with lead designers in the REEL Group.
- Experience: 10 years of tooling and access platform design experience, including 3D design and drawings, manufacturing of mechanical parts, and tolerance requirements.
- Knowledge: Construction steels, mechanical steels, and aluminum raw materials, calculation basis for mechanical dimensioning of structures, and knowledge of electrical motors and pneumatic effectors selection.
- Education: Engineering degree or technical design education, and knowledge and experience with CATIA.
- Soft Skills: Independent worker with strong communication skills, ethical conduct, results-driven, and rigorous with initiative, adaptability, and good written and spoken English and Spanish.
