About the Role
FeverUp is a leading global live-entertainment discovery tech platform with a clear mission: to democratize access to culture and entertainment. We are looking for a seasoned Legal Director to join our corporate team and take ownership of a broad range of transactional activity for FeverUp worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of corporate and M&A trained lawyers to work closely with the business to negotiate and execute corporate transactions worldwide, including acquisitions, investments, and joint ventures.
- Support the Business and Corporate Development leadership in the design and execution of strategies for corporate transactions and their financing.
- Provide proactive and strategic support to business teams and upper management in their negotiations of deals and contracts.
- Advising on the engagement of, and coordinating and prioritizing, work of external legal advisors where appropriate.
- Preparing and delivering training to other members of the legal team and business teams on corporate and transactional legal matters and processes.
- Manage a team of corporate and M&A lawyers of differing seniorities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have a successful track record of creating impact, enacting change, and successfully leading a professional legal team. You should have a corporate and commercial background with 5+ years of in-house experience, and prior highly ranked law firm experience. A JD with strong academic credentials and a barred US lawyer, preferably NY barred, is required.
