Control Systems Engineer

Fluor Corporation is a global engineering and construction company that provides professional and technical solutions to clients worldwide. Our team is seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Maintenance) business group.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine calculations and specify simple equipment to solve problems of engineering complexity
- Review vendor equipment documentation for compliance with project requirements and identify discrepancies
- Assist in the development of estimates, schedules, and progress reports
- Identify deviations in job scope and estimate the magnitude of changes
- Participate in equipment and material procurement activities
- Incorporate health, safety, and environmental factors in design
- Interface with other discipline functions
- Analyze and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity
- Organize and prioritize projects and tasks in an effective and timely manner
Requirements:
- Acquire knowledge to perform control systems sizing calculations for control valves, relief valves, flow elements, thermowells, and other instrumentation
- Acquire knowledge to specify instrumentation
- Acquire basic knowledge to create instrument index and datasheets and generate reports in Intergraph SmartPlant Instrumentation database
