Job Title: Control Systems Engineer

Fluor Corporation, a global leader in engineering, procurement, and construction, is seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team in Cartagena. As a key member of our Engineering and Construction team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for various industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform calculations and solve problems related to control systems, instrumentation, and process control.
  • Review and validate vendor equipment documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Develop estimates, schedules, and progress reports for control systems projects.
  • Identify and resolve deviations in job scope, estimate changes, and initiate trends or change orders.
  • Interface with project disciplines and client representatives to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5-10 years of relevant working experience in control systems engineering.
  • Intermediate knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, and piping and instrumentation diagrams (PIDs).
  • Advanced level of INTOOLS and/or PRODOK software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish.
