Financial Analyst Job Description

Amazon is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our Amazon Logistics (AMZL) team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and expansion of our logistics network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage Amazon Logistics metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Build trusted partnerships with business stakeholders to inform and support strategic business decisions.
  • Communicate financial data and insights to drive business actions and improve decision-making.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, and implement process improvements to streamline financial and operational planning.
  • Supervise and own the financial and operational planning processes, including month-end procedures and variance analysis.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
  • Proven work experience in finance, with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial data and insights.
  • Passion for using data to drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
