At Vèringer Engineering, we're committed to innovation and sustainability. We're seeking a skilled Machining Operator to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge scientific projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience with machining tools, CNC programming, and robotics. They will be responsible for reading and interpreting positioning plans, detecting errors, and preparing workstations and machines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out machining work using machines and tools designed for different processes.
  • Reading and interpreting positioning plans for machine preparation.
  • Detection and communication of errors or inconsistencies in design.
  • Preparation of workstations, machines, tools, and parts.
  • Use of safety measures for machining equipment.
  • Receipt of instructions and preparation of material for machining.
  • Verification, modification, and production of CNC programs.
  • Modification of cutting parameters depending on machining type, materials, and tolerances.
  • Suggesting tool, sequence, and speed parameter modifications to optimize machining times.
  • Supporting dimensional checks and making manual adjustments if necessary.
  • Cleaning work areas and tools.

Requirements:

  • Higher or medium-level professional training in machining tools.
  • 3-10 years of experience in the requested position.
  • Plan reading skills.
  • Knowledge of overall mechanics.
  • Use of measuring tools.
  • Knowledge of CNC and CAM.
  • A multidisciplinary profile or willingness to train in welding, boilermaking, fitting, and machining.
  • Languages: Advanced English or French, with Spanish as a plus.
  • Procedure reading efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Crane operator.
  • Working at height (harness).
  • Work in confined spaces.
  • Working with forklifts.
  • Work with lifting platforms.
  • Knowledge of Fusion 360, RoboDK, and Pack Office.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Meticulous, precision, skill, and manual dexterity.
  • Sense of order and planning.
  • Communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt.
