We are seeking a skilled Machining Operator to join our team at Vèringer Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out machining work using machines, tools, and robots.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reading and interpreting positioning plans to prepare the machine for machining
  • Detection and communication of errors or inconsistencies in the design
  • Preparation of the workstation, machine, tools, and safety equipment
  • Receipt of instructions and parts, preparation of material to be machined, and positioning, clamping, centering, and leveling
  • Verification, modification, and production of CNC programs using RobotDK and/or Fusion 360
  • Modification of cutting parameters depending on the type of machining, materials, tolerances, etc.
  • Suggesting modifications to tools, sequences, and speed parameters to optimize machining times
  • Supporting dimensional checks for the correct completion of the final machining
  • Making manual adjustments if necessary
  • Cleaning the work area and work tools

Requirements include:

  • Higher or medium level professional training in machining tools
  • 3 to 10 years of experience in the requested position
  • Plan reading skills
  • Knowledge of overall mechanics
  • Use of measuring tools
  • Knowledge of CNC and CAM

A multidisciplinary profile will be valued, or the candidate may be open to training in these profiles.

Language skills include advanced English or French, with the ability to communicate fluently, and Spanish as a plus.

Qualifications include crane operator, working at height, working in confined spaces, working with forklifts, and working with lifting platforms.

Personal skills include the ability to work in a team, meticulousness, precision, skill, and manual dexterity, a sense of order and planning, communication skills, and the ability to adapt.
