Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Sales Manager to support the Sales Manager in managing an excellent day-to-day business and sales activity of our wholesalers. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining customer contacts, coordinating and managing sales campaigns, monitoring daily forecasts and budgets, and managing day-to-day incidents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Forecast and Budget Management: Control the fulfillment of daily and weekly budgets/forecasts.
  • Client Strategy Implementation: Support the implementation of client strategies in the day-to-day business.
  • Sales Program Fulfillment: Ensure the fulfillment of agreed sales programs.
  • Excess and Shortage Management: Support the Sales Manager with solutions/proposals in case of excess quantities and shortages for assigned clients.
  • Promotional Proposal Preparation: Carry out a weekly preparation of promotional proposals in cooperation with product managers.
  • Claims Management: Manage any claims that may occur.
  • Customer Settlements: Reconcile customer settlements and forward information to the back office as needed.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate with other SL departments for day-to-day business.
  • Process Improvement: Support the continuous improvement of running smooth processes in daily operations (internally and externally).
Requirements
  • Education: Higher studies in wholesale and foreign trade merchant, ideally in economics, business administration, or similar.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish and German, with English as a plus.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in a similar sales position.
  • Skills: Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), sales talent, organizational skills, ability to work in a team, numerical skills, negotiation skills, and team player.
