Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Operations Trainee to join our Asset Management team in Barcelona. As an Investment Operations Trainee, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our investment processes, including securities processing, income payments, and net asset value calculations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and clear securities transactions in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of securities holdings and cash account holdings
- Calculate net asset value (NAV) for Unit Linked business and non-Unit Linked portfolios
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational issues and improve processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting is preferred
- Fundamental knowledge of common asset classes, risks, and markets
- CFA or similar certification is highly valued
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
