Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Operations Trainee to join our team in Barcelona. As an Investment Operations Trainee, you will be responsible for the daily processing, posting, and clearing of securities transactions, as well as income payments. You will also be involved in timely month-end closing activities and net asset value (NAV) calculation for Unit Linked business and some non-Unit Linked portfolios. Additionally, you will be responsible for periodic reconciliation of securities holdings and cash account holdings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for correct daily processing, posting, and clearing of securities transactions, and income payments.
  • Responsible for timely month-end closing activities.
  • Net asset value (NAV) calculation for Unit Linked business and some non-Unit Linked portfolios.
  • Periodic reconciliation of securities holdings and cash account holdings.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting is preferred.
  • Fundamental knowledge of most common asset classes in traditional financial instruments, risks, and markets.
  • Holding a CFA or similar certification would be highly valued.
  • FSCM/FAM/TRM-SAP Treasury/ Financial technical skills is preferred.
  • Client focus, combined with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • To be willing to gain new skills and experiences, but also share your knowledge across the team.
