System Administrator Job Description

Scopely, a leading mobile games company, is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join its global team in Seville. As an IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure and providing top-notch support to our employees.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the global IT/SEC team to deliver IT projects from concept to production, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  2. Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, guaranteeing seamless transitions and compliance with company policies.
  3. Manage device lifecycle, including procurement, provisioning, deployment, maintenance, and deprovisioning, to ensure all employees have the necessary tools to perform their duties effectively.
  4. Provide hands-on support for hardware and software troubleshooting, issue resolution, and triaging, utilizing industry-standard security best practices to protect company data.
  5. Oversee network infrastructure management, including wireless networks, to ensure reliable connectivity across the organization.
  6. Configure and manage VPN connections to safeguard company data and enable secure remote access.
  7. Develop and maintain documented processes, procedures, and configurations to ensure consistency and efficiency throughout the organization.
  8. Research and recommend innovative approaches for system administration tasks to scale with the company's growth.
  9. Prioritize tasks based on impact and urgency, ensuring that critical issues are addressed promptly.
  10. Implement, configure, and manage SaaS tools like Jira, GSuite, and Jumpcloud to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  11. Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of services and products.
  12. Support the AV/VC platform (Zoom) to facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  13. Utilize scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to automate system administration tasks and improve efficiency.
  14. Create group policies for standardization and security to ensure consistent application of best practices across the organization.
  15. Manage Cloud Identity Providers and SSO (Okta) to simplify authentication and access control.

Requirements

  • Mastery of MDM (Mobile Device Management) concepts, particularly Jamf Pro Suite, NinjaRRM, and Meraki MDM.
  • Experience supporting design tools and understanding their integration with IT systems.
  • Proficiency in the Meraki platform and its applications in enterprise settings.
  • Strong English language skills, as Scopely has a highly diverse and global business requiring clear communication and collaboration.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is €40,000 - €60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure takes into account the job requirements, location, and market standards.
