Key Responsibilities
- Lead System Assurance and Validation and Verification activities for assigned Main Line projects to ensure that technical solutions and processes meet regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement system concept analysis, assurance, and V&V plans, collaborating with stakeholders to prepare integration strategies.
- Coordinate assurance activities and serve as a superior contact person for internal and external stakeholders, including global customers and partners.
- Support strategic initiatives within the System Assurance & Test Automation Area and contribute to bid phase projects worldwide.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in electrical/electronic engineering with railways-specific specialization.
- Experience in Rail Signaling business, with good knowledge of MT signaling solutions (ETCS L1, ETCS L2, Core Signalling principles).
- Experience as RAMS engineer and deep knowledge of CENELEC standards for RAMS (EN50126, EN50129, EN50128, EN50159).
- Knowledge of EU directives like UE 402/2013 and hands-on experience in Hazards Management and identification, SIL and THR ratings.
- Hands-on experience in performing RAMS studies like FMEA, FMECA, FTAs and management and identification of applications conditions and its impact on safety and operation.
- Experience in Requirements Management, traceability, and validation, as well as desirable hands-on experience as tester or equivalent.
- Strong self-motivated individual with natural focus on customer needs, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and ability to work in a team.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, with readiness for travel and self-confidence.
