About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Business Analyst to join our team at Hopper. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and informing strategic decisions through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Management Reporting: Develop and maintain scalable solutions for management reporting to support business leaders in decision-making.
  2. Financial Modeling: Create, update, and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  3. Business Intelligence: Collaborate with multiple areas of the business to accurately reflect recent trends in all modeling and financial reporting.
  4. Strategic Decision-Making: Provide periodic briefs on company performance, assessing growth and addressing problem areas to help business leaders make informed decisions.
  5. Process Improvement: Continuously identify improvement opportunities, including the automation of reporting and analytics using SQL / Big Query.
Requirements
  1. Education: A degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, Math, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative discipline.
  2. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a top-tier tech company, consulting firm, or venture capital firm.
  3. Skills: Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL, programming, and data analysis.
  4. Industry Knowledge: Experience working in or with FP&A / strategic finance, and knowledge of the travel industry.
  5. Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Suite.
