Job Title: Electrical Control Systems Engineer

AVL Iberica is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Control Systems Engineer to join our team in Spain, Mexico, or Portugal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development of electronic control functions for various vehicle systems, including e-powertrain, chassis, power electronics, and HV-Battery.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement model-based development approaches for electronic control functions.
  • Coordinate customer requirements and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Validate developed functions and concepts at various stages, including MIL, HIL, and vehicle testing.
  • Work with existing functional models and support their development up to series production.
  • Support the further development of new technologies and innovations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, vehicle technology, physics, or computer science.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic architectures, including communication networks and advanced powertrain topologies.
  • Experience with control engineering and model-based development using Matlab/Simulink and automatic code generation.
  • Familiarity with development processes and standardized software architecture in the automotive sector.
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills, with proficiency in English and Spanish.
