About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Control Systems Engineer to join our team at AVL Iberica. As a key member of our mobility development team, you will be responsible for the development of electronic control functions for various vehicle systems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement model-based development approaches for electronic control functions.
  • Coordinate customer requirements and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Validate developed functions and concepts through testing and simulation.
  • Work with existing functional models and support their development up to series production.
  • Support the further development of new technologies and innovations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, vehicle technology, physics, or computer science.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic architectures, advanced powertrain topologies, and automated driving functions.
  • Experience with control engineering, model-based development, and automatic code generation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Familiarity with development processes and standardized software architecture in the automotive sector.
