About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobility Engineer to join our team at AVL Iberica. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the development of electronic control functions for our e-powertrain, chassis, power electronics, HV-Battery, and ADAS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement model-based development approaches for electronic control functions.
  • Coordinate customer requirements and ensure timely delivery of concepts and solutions.
  • Validate developed functions and concepts at various stages, including MIL, HIL, test bench, and vehicle.
  • Work with existing functional models and support their implementation up to series production.
  • Support the further development of new technologies and innovations.

About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, vehicle technology, physics, or computer science. You should have a strong understanding of electrical and electronic architectures, advanced powertrain topologies, and basic knowledge of automated driving functions.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of control engineering and model-based development with Matlab/Simulink and automatic code generation.
  • Familiarity with development processes and standardized software architecture in the automotive sector.
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills, with proficiency in English and Spanish language knowledge.
