At Sportserve, we're seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to help us shape and build the future of our Sportsbook platform. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our system.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the development team to provide technical expertise and support in automation and manual testing.
- Analyze and understand business requirements, identifying key components to be tested.
- Develop and execute software quality assurance testing via performance and automation tools.
- Gather, analyze, and summarize test results.
- Collaborate with the business analyst to gather missing requirements.
- Work with the team to follow best practices, promote industry standards, and ensure our products are reliable with an excellent user experience.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in QA.
- Degree in a relevant field (Computer Science or Engineering).
- Strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts and experience with OOP languages.
- Ability and willingness to continuously learn software quality assurance practices, follow established processes, and provide input to help evolve current practices and procedures.
- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and an independent thinker.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience as a QA performing manual and automated test cases in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in testing web applications frontend with using Playwright or Cypress, alternatively Selenium Web Driver or Appium (script development and execution).
- Experience in manual and automated testing with RESTful Web Services using any of following tools: SOAPUI, Postman, Insomnia, Rest Assured, Karate or JMeter.
- Experience in an Agile software development lifecycle.
- Experience with Agile planning and defect management tools.
- Experience with Test case development and management tools.
