About the Role

As a Digital Media Strategist at Fever España, you will bring your own unique ideas on how to improve and manage our international communities in social media. You will provide high-quality and engaging text and visual content for our social media accounts with a global focus. Your goal is to drive audience growth and engagement across multiple social platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, & Instagram) by scheduling content, writing copy, and monitoring content and channel performance.

You will evaluate and develop engaging and original content that will help boost our footprint. This includes on-camera presence and voice overs. Additionally, you will create, plan, and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies. Staying up-to-date on TikTok and Instagram rules and algorithms is crucial. Ensure marketing and social media campaigns are aligned with the communication strategy in all platforms and optimize posts for engagement and search.

You will follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies and maintain Fever España's editorial voice in headlines and copywriting across multiple verticals and platforms. Building and strengthening relationships with audiences, potential customers, industry professionals, and influencers is essential. You will be open to creating new digital deals & partnerships. Working together with other DDCs to generate ideas and to schedule and promote editorial-sponsored content across all platforms is also required.

About You

  • Fluent in English. A second language is desirable but not mandatory.
  • A deep passion for digital storytelling and understanding the social media landscape.
  • 3+ years of experience running social media accounts for a newsroom, agency, or brand.
  • A strong understanding of digital media trends, with a good feel for what makes content popular online.
  • The ability to adapt to the fast-moving world of a digital startup business.
  • Experience with social media tools like Creators Studio, Storrito, Later, and similar. Facebook Ads and other social paid platforms are a plus.
  • Experience with video editing tools (Final Cut, Adobe Premiere etc.).
  • The ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs.
  • Attention to detail, critical-thinker, and problem-solver.

  • Flexibility and quick to pivot – we're a newsroom, and breaking news is always on the verge.
  • Desirable requirements: Canva master and a pro-editor of short, engaging videos.

About Salary

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
