About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Digital Solutions Architect to join our team at BASF's Agricultural Solutions department Digital Factory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and orchestrating the IT solution process in various phases of solution design and development to ensure smooth execution and compliance with current security and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and orchestrating the IT solution process in various phases of solution design and development
  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into solution designs
  • Creating clear and comprehensive documentation of solution designs, including architecture diagrams and integration descriptions
  • Selecting appropriate technology stacks and platforms based on governance policies of Enterprise Architecture
  • Regularly validating governance policies against requirements and collaborating with AP Enterprise Architecture if adjustments are necessary
  • Continuously reviewing existing solution designs to identify risks and vulnerabilities and providing suggestions for mitigation
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to product teams and IT Delivery Leads throughout the entire product lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or further education in IT/Digitalization
  • Experience in at least two comparable positions
  • Leadership experience within agile organizations
  • Work experience within Digital teams and jobs
  • IT feasibility study
  • IT Infrastructure/system landscape
  • Process management and improvement
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving
  • Technologies in own operational area
  • Communication skills, advanced English
  • Strong understanding of web security practices and performance measurement
