Head of Construction North Europe

About the Role
The purpose of this position is to oversee a team of architecture project managers based in several North Europe market clusters, responsible for implementing store projects in alignment with global concepts, guidelines, and processes. Additionally, the successful candidate will support the global facilities management team as needed, with a focus on regional activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and guide a team of international project managers to ensure they have the necessary capabilities to deliver high-performance operational tasks, while supporting their growth into a strategic mindset.
- Supervise the implementation of point-of-purchase (POP) displays and support project managers on all aspects of POP construction, including approval, negotiation, and performance.
- Manage the regional architecture budget for projects, including capital expenditures (CAPEX).
- Guide and supervise external consultants and local architects in accordance with central strategies.
- Ensure the delivery of quality projects within committed timelines and budgets for all store implementations.
- Collaborate closely with retail architecture operations and distribution and real estate teams.
- Take on a leadership role for important store projects, such as flagship stores, from site survey to handover to sales departments.
- Be proactive in proposing innovative solutions for internal process, software, or team improvements.
About You
We are seeking a unique and exceptional talent with the following qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent education.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar role within an international setting.
- Excellent English proficiency, presentation, and communication skills; Spanish, French, and German are considered highly beneficial.
- Experience in retail project management, store development, or facilities management.
- Influencing skills to align with stakeholders throughout all project phases.
- Willingness to travel regularly, with a minimum of 20% to 40% of work time spent on the road.
- Team orientation and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Innovative and creative approach, with a can-do attitude.
