Commissioning Engineer

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team in EMEA. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers, working closely with vendors, contractors, and other teams to commission various systems, including power, HVAC, and electrical systems.
Responsibilities- Support vendors and contractors in the construction and commissioning of data center systems
- Provide multi-discipline input into project scheduling, test script development, and planning
- Review component submittal packages, lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT), and perform system-level and integrated system testing
- Ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements during commissioning
- Prepare comprehensive weekly reports on project status and lessons learned
The AWS Data Center Commissioning Team is a highly skilled and independent business unit within the DCGS organization. Our team of veteran engineers, project managers, and operators work together to ensure the rapid delivery of high-quality products while maintaining transparency and recording metrics of manufacturer/contractor/equipment issues.
