Patient Data Specialist Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Data Specialist to join our team at Precision Medicine Group. As a Patient Data Specialist, you will play a critical role in reviewing and analyzing clinical trial data to ensure its accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review subject data for accuracy and consistency with protocol, references, and oncology standards of care.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external project team members.
  • Collaborate with management and medical monitors to support cross-functional departmental communication.
  • Provide input into project-related documentation, such as EDC specifications and data review guidelines.
  • Support the development and user acceptance testing of data outputs.
  • Use various EDC systems and data visualization tools.
  • Assist management in providing routine status updates and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Identify quality risks and issues, and recommend corrective action plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience in science or healthcare discipline.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology.
  • Oncology therapeutic experience required, hematologic malignancy experience preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in clinical operations and/or data management or related discipline.
  • Experience in reviewing data from oncology clinical trials, with working knowledge of oncology standards.
  • Experience with electronic data capture systems and data visualization tools.
