Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

At Apartool 2019, we're looking for a seasoned Quality Assurance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and workability of our deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the QA process to guarantee high-quality deliverables
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Tech teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and met
  • Oversee and perform different types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and sanity tests
  • Manage and improve QA tools and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency
  • Take ownership of the defect lifecycle: track, report, and prioritize issues with clear communication
  • Advocate for best QA practices and continuously improve testing strategies within the SDLC cycle
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a QA Lead role, working within SDLC cycles and cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of QA processes, including use case creation, sanity testing, functional and non-functional testing
  • Familiarity with testing tools such as Postman for API validation, SQL clients for database validation, and other QA tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
