Financial Accountant

Empresa reconocida is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our Financial accounting group, you will be responsible for preparing timely and accurate financial data for external reporting, working closely with the Team leader to ensure compliance with US GAAP and local GAAP requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare financial data for external reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations and statutory accounts, in accordance with local GAAP and US GAAP requirements.
- Work with the Team leader to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including month-end closing and year-end audit processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including peer groups and functional areas, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and implement new procedures as necessary to ensure compliance.
- Contribute to the development of the Financial accounting group, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
- Working experience in the preparation of annual accounts, preferably in accordance with FRS102.
- ACCA/CIMA certification or willingness to undergo examinations while working at the company.
- Experience working in an international team with other accountants.
- US GAAP/IFRS knowledge is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a large multi-disciplined environment.
- Working with SAP is considered an advantage.
- Study degree in Financial Accounting.
- English is mandatory and any other European language will be an asset.
