Job Summary

This role is an integral part of the JPMorganChase team in Madrid, working closely with the Global Investment Banking business.

As a Business Assistant, you will provide exceptional support to GIB Bankers, interacting with various members of the firm and contributing to our success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide diary management, set up meetings and conference calls, both internally and externally
  • Arrange business travels, coordinating logistics for business trips and preparing itineraries
  • Assist visitors from outside J.P. Morgan Madrid organization
  • Manage agendas, follow up on internal and management meetings, and deal with multiple and/or urgent meeting conflicts
  • Manage expenses, process receipts through CONCUR system, and reconcile accounts monthly
  • Provide telephone support for the wider group, with a focus on senior coverage during the absence of peers
  • Administer general office tasks, including archiving, filing, and stationary orders
  • Support in raising systems, applications requests, and maintaining vacation schedules
  • Collaborate closely with other administrative assistants and team members
Requirements
  • Proficient level of English
  • Technology savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral
  • Self-starter, extremely organized, and detailed-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy
  • Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters
  • Proactive anticipation and thinking, ensuring all meetings are confirmed and correct
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a busy environment and re-prioritize
  • Ability to demonstrate previous success as an assistant, including experience of expense processing and basic account management
